WHAT IS YOUR RATE?
It has always been and will always be my goal to offer professional quality photography at a low and affordable rate. Please see my "Prices" page for current rates and packages. All packages are customizable so please contact me with any special requests.
WHAT IS YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE?
I shoot a blended style of Shabby Chic with a mix of modern, photojournalistic photography with candid & posed shots. I love to work outdoors in natural light, with natural settings. I am open to coming to your home for sessions, going to the park, or pretty much anywhere you’d like as long as it's not to far from me.
DO YOU HAVE A STUDIO?
No. I have backdrops and props and lighting that I can bring to you or to a location of your choice, but honestly, studio shots are not my favorite photos to take. I would much rather brave Iowa's unpredictable elements and get outdoors. I am a natural light photographer which translates into using the great outdoors as my studio. I have my favorite spots in and around my local area and will share them with you during our consultation. I am always up for trying new locations and ideas!
WHEN ARE YOU MOST AVAILABLE FOR PICTURES?
I am available week nights and weekends. Most prefer nights and weekends, however if weekdays work better for you, please let me know and I will do my best to accommodate you and your schedule.
YOUR PACKAGES SAY "UNLIMITED OUTFITS", WHAT IS THE AVERGE AMOUNT OF CHANGES?
Average outfit changes is 2-3 per hour. This will depend on the amount of time spent on each outfit and whether there is any make up, hair or setting changes.
WHAT IS YOUR "NO WORRIES" GUARANTEE?
As a mother of two independent and energetic kids, I always worried about the time frames and if my kids would behave! So, If your child is not cooperating or needs to be fed or pooped through their outfit. No worries! I have worked with kids in many different ways for 20+ years and have seen it all. My time frames are simply a base so if it takes longer to get the shot you want because Little Johnny or Jane is having a bad day I will not charge you extra.
WHAT PAYMENT METHODS ARE ACCEPTED?
Cash, checks and Venmo are accepted at this time and are requested the day of your shoot for setting or package fees. If you're ordering pictures from me, Visa and MasterCard's will be accepted. Iowa sales tax is 7% and will be added to any prints that are ordered as well as to any package that is purchased.
WHAT IS THE TURN AROUND TIME FOR PHOTOS?
My normal turn around time is 7-14 days from your shoot but because sometimes life happens, please allow me 2-3 weeks from the date of your shoot.
Once ready, I will email you a link of the proofs for you to view a slideshow of all of your photos. If you have purchased a digital package, you will have the opportunity to download your photos and save them to your own computer. You may also purchase prints or additional products such as custom-designed albums, cards, beautiful canvas, and much more.
DO I OWN THE IMAGES I DOWNLOAD?
Uniquely Chic Inspirations retains all copyright, which leaves me the right to alter, edit, promote, or sell an image. However, You are awarded printing rights with the download of digital images. When you purchase a digital package, you have the right to print any where you want.
CAN I PRINT LARGE PRINTS?
If you are wanting to print images 11x14 or bigger I highly recommend you use the professional lab I use. I cannot garenttee the color, clarity, or quality of large prints ordered from places like Shutterfly, SnapFish, Walmart or Target. These companies will print anything you send them and depend on you to crop and know what size your image is capable of stretching to before it becomes blurred or pixelated.
WHERE IS THE BEST PLACE TO PRINT MY PHOTOS?
For professional quality prints that will last, your best bet is to order from your proofing gallary.
MPIX and Nations Photo Lab will give you high quality professional grade prints. But look out for their shipping and handeling fees, they can be pretty hefty at times.
Shutterfly and Snapfish are great for the photo gifts and books but their print quality is extremely poor.
Canvas on Demand has great products, much more then just canvases and are always running groupon adds. There customer service is outstanding.
